Businesses in the area will be lit up to create a festive atmosphere and bring the spirit of Christmas into the heart of Tugun for everyone to enjoy. Celebrate Tugun Lights Up Street Party: Saturday 3 December
Launching the month long celebration of Christmas in Tugun Village, is the annual street party.
Head along to Tugun from 4pm to 7pm and enjoy family friendly entertainment and a visit from Santa. Then, be entertained by the acts performing from 5pm to 9pm.
There will be face painters, buskers, children’s arts and crafts, Ginger Bread icing, led lighting and dance performers. It’s the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit.

From 3pm (kids activities) Carols commence at 6pm
Bring the family for an afternoon of FREE kids activities including Rock Climbing Wall, Face Painting, Snow Globe Family Photos and more. The night wouldn’t be complete without a visit from Santa and a spectacular fireworks display to cap off the night.

5. Coolangatta Christmas Carols

SUNDAY the 11th of December 2016.
Coolangatta Christmas Carols is a FREE family event that will feature everyone’s favourite carols, with performances from local community choir, The Voice Weavers, a show by Rudolph’s special helpers and a special performance by folk band, The Bostocks.
Santa will be making a visit, with a rather spectacular entrance, as he sky-dives onto Coolangatta Beach!
There will be entertainment for all the family, food trucks, market stalls and a fireworks display to conclude the festivities.
