Surf World will be hosting a Pop-up Display at Kirra Hill Community and Cultural Centre on Sunday the 18th of June. Head along between 10am and 4pm and check out a sample of Surf World’s extensive collection of surfing memorabilia including photos and boards from the 50s and 60s and their promotional kombi. There will also be live entertainment with the sweet sounds of roving ukulele players, and food on offer including coffee and a sausage sizzle.
With FREE entry to Surf World Pop UP Display, if you are interested in surfing and surf culture, this is a great way to spend a lazy Sunday! Kirra Hill Community and Cultural Centre is located at 1 Garrick Street, Coolangatta.
Interested in checking out the full collection at Surf World Gold Coast? Visit them at 1st Floor, 35 Tomewin Street Currumbin, from 10 to 5pm daily. Admission costs $10 for adults, $5 for concession/kids and $20 for a family. The museum is closed on Anzac Day, Good Friday, Christmas day and Boxing day.
