We all know that the Gold Coast is synonymous with surfing and great beaches, so it’s a natural choice for a surfing and beach conservation conference.
The International Surfing Symposium will address surfing behaviour, shark protection and ocean and beach conservation.
The sport contributes approximately $1.4 billion to the local economy and supports over 20,000 jobs.
